We all know how fragile the environment is becoming and how precarious our energy resources are. This country will probably be relying almost entirely on imports of gas, oil and electricity within the next ten years or so. A substantial amount of electricity is imported from France already. We cannot reverse this process - but we can lesson the impact of the undeniable increase in energy prices which will accompany these imports. No waving of magic wands will alter this situation. The only remedy lies within our own understanding of how to reduce our usage of fossil fuel, helping to reduce the effects of global warming caused by greenhouse gases and at the same time save on our fuel bills. Every household will benefit from husbanding our natural resources and investing in green energy no matter how big or small your family. A Solar Powered hot water installation is probably the most inexpensive and relatively simple way to help achieve these savings.

Invincible Power has been marketing and installing various types of Solar Thermal (hot water) Systems for over four years. We are not tied by commercial agreement to any single manufacturer and have narrowed the choice of systems we offer to three. Our flat plate system (starting at £2,999 inclusive of government grant) is manufactured in Scotland. The petite, versatile Schott evacuated tube system is manufactured in Germany. Our highly efficient Riomay EcoTube System comes from Japan and is ideal for apartments (fixing against the exterior wall) or flat roofs - eliminating unsightly "A" frame construction.

We install systems to suit are customers needs...not to maximise our profits! From our experience we have realised that it is very unfair to sell the same system to a senior citizen as to a young family of four; their needs are completely different. Also, the financial cost is obviously a large contributing factor. If your lifestyle does not require the early morning/winter advantage of an evacuated tube system; a flat plate system will be perfectly serviceable.

Installing a Solar System requires replacement of your hot water cylinder. The insulation on our cylinders, coupled with their high efficiency coils, ensures an immediate saving on your fuel bills irrespective of the Solar System input. Obviously the saving will depend on your hot water usage and the time of day you use it. Nearly all our customers agree a slight reorganisation in daily routine does happen as they gain experience in management of their Solar Powered installation. A common change is in using the washing machine. Instead of doing the washing first thing in the morning, they leave it until midday or early afternoon. This enables them to benefit from the morning sun, leaving the rest of the day for the system to recharge itself. None of our customers regret having a Solar System fitted!
